Purpose and Scope of the Privacy Policy

We at Torus Skillforce Private Limited (operating under the brand name Torus SkillForce) (“the Company”) (together with its subsidiaries, group companies and affiliates) value our customer’s (“You”, “Your”, “User”) trust and protecting your privacy and treating the personal information of all users of our Website (“Platform”) is of utmost importance to us. Your use of the Platform in connection with the products or services as offered by the Company from time to time (“Services”), or registrations with us through any modes or usage of any products including through mobile phones, tablets or other storage/transmitting device shall signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and your agreement to be legally bound by the same.

Company does not use or share User’s information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy, or in relevant parts of the Platform. We collect, use and process various types of personal information about the customer to the extent appropriate for your relationship with us.Depending upon the Services offered, the personal information that we collect about you may include but is not limited to name, address, email address, telephone and mobile number, date of birth, PAN Card, GST Certificate, Cancelled Cheque or such other company details as required while providing Services along with skill interests, course preferences, data about your consumption of content, other personally identifiable information, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device/electronic device and about the way you use the Services/Platform and sensitive personal data or Information as defined in the Information Security Rules, 2011.

The collection of personal information about you is from a variety of sources, including but not limited, through:

  • Online and electronic interactions including via website of our company / group companies, mobile applications, text messaging programs or applications on third party social networks
  • Offline interactions, including via direct marketing campaigns, hard copy registration / application forms, competition entries and contacts through Company’s or its affiliate’s call centres; and
  • Your interaction with online targeted content (such as advertisements) or service providers on our behalf, provide to you ia third party websites or applications.

2. Purpose for which we use personal information

We process all your personal information in accordance with the applicable laws on data protection and for as long as required.

Company will not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party. However, Company may share personal information with authorized representative of third party for carrying out business and/or required by applicable law. We may share personal information with our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and related group companies. Our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and related group companies are committed to protecting your personal information as its own and to use it only for legitimate business purposes.

Governing Law
The Privacy Policy shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Privacy Policy shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.

Company may grant access to personal information to third-party service providers such as training partners, training centers, project monitoring unit, banks etc. in connection with the performance or the improvement of its Platform and Services.
